THE AERIAL AQUARIUM (mixed media)
The Aerial Aquarium was commissioned for the new Farnham Hospital and Centre for Health. It is a large decorative wirework sculpture of fish circling a column in the reception area and was inspired by the old idea of placing aquariums in doctors waiting rooms. It was described by an appreciative patient as being “wonderfully un-hospital!” The sculpture was originally planned to be there for 10 years but ended up staying for 18. As you can see from some of the pictures below they have now moved on and are happily swimming around their new home in St. Andrews Church in Farnham.
