ANTONY SHER 2021 (copper)
Portrait bust of Antony Sher the brilliant actor, writer and artist who died in December 2021. He was a lovely man who I’d known for over thirty years.
It was one of the most challenging, and above all saddest projects I’ve ever worked on but I think the end result is one of the best pieces of work I’ve made. I finished it at the end of November and was very grateful to have been able to show him and his husband Greg. Thankfully they both loved it. Tony died a week later.
